A. Full-Time Opportunities

1. Project Manager

WordEngine is always interested in accepting applications from experienced linguists with excellent multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
Project managers oversee and manage a variety of translation projects. We only consider applicants with at least three years experience in the translation industry and with superb computer skills and proficiency in TRADOS and/or other translation memory tools. In this hands-on position, project managers have the opportunity to:

Oversee all phases of assigned projects including management of cost, quality, and schedules Assemble relevant teams of freelance linguists around the world for each project
Enhance and strengthen your technical abilities
Prove your teambuilding and leadership skills

2. Project Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level linguist, preferably a native English speaker, with excellent multitasking, organizational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will coordinate a variety of translation projects for clients in the public and private sectors. Applicants with a strong interest in the translation industry and superb organizational and computer skills are preferred.

In this hands-on position, you will have the opportunity to:

Assist and learn from some of the best project managers in the business
Coordinate the many phases of assigned translation and localization projects
Help recruit and assemble relevant teams of freelance linguists around the world for each project
Translate and edit small projects
Participate in a stringent and comprehensive quality control process
Enhance and strengthen your technical abilities, including the use of CAT tools such as Trados and SDLX
Prove your teambuilding and leadership skills
Contribute to improvements in process, client satisfaction, and overall quality
Be a part of a dynamic team of seasoned linguists and translation industry experts

B. Freelance Partnerships

We’re always on the lookout for freelancers who are sticklers for quality. We seek translators with excellent writing skills, editors with a flair for language, and proofreaders with a meticulous eye for detail.
